Man pleads guilty to vandalizing reproductive health clinic

Man told police he vandalized clinic to deter women from having abortions.

A Baltimore man pleaded guilty Friday to federal charges after he vandalized a women's health clinic because it provided abortions, prosecutors said.

Travis Reynolds, 21, pleaded guilty to one count of violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, which makes it a crime to damage the property of a reproductive health services facility.

Prosecutors said Reynolds and another man spray painted the words "Baby Killer," "Kill Baby Here" and other messages on the clinic.

Reynolds told police he vandalized the clinic because he thought it would deter women from using it, prosecutors said.
