Baltimore police said a man died late Saturday after suffering a gunshot wound to his head, and they also identified another man who had died earlier yesterday in a stabbing.
Police said officers were called to the Hugo and Harford roads at 11:34 p.m. Saturday, and found the man with the wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at 11:53 p.m. Police have not yet identified the victim. Police said homicide detectives are investigating the incident, and anyone with information is asked to call 410-396-2100.
Meanwhile, police identified the victim of a fatal stabbing that occurred Saturday at about 12:59 a.m. The victim was identified as Kendrick Andrew Martin, 41, of the 2300 block of W. Lexington.
In that case, officers responded to a call for a stabbing at the intersection of Penrose Avenue and N. Payson. Police said a man had been stabbed multiple times after arguing with two individuals in the street. He was transported to a hospital where he died at 1:33 a.m. Homicide detectives are also investigating this incident.
