Two killed, two seriously wounded in separate shootings Wednesday night

Baltimore sees four shootings across the city Wednesday night.

Two men were killed and two others seriously wounded in four separate shootings beginning Wednesday evening in Baltimore, police said.

A 22-year-old was killed after being shot multiple times in a home in the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood of West Baltimore, police said.

An officer was patrolling the neighborhood shortly before 6 p.m. and heard gunfire. The officer found the man wounded inside on the 1200 block of N. Carey St. The victim was hospitalized and he later died, police said.

About two hours later, a 24-year-old was shot and killed in the Oldtown neighborhood of East Baltimore, police said.

Officers were called about 8 p.m. to the shooting in the 500 block of McElderry St. They found the man with gunshot wounds to his chest, and he died at the hospital, police said.

In South Baltimore, shortly before 9 p.m., a 17-year-old was shot in his back and legs in Cherry Hill, police said.

The victim was found on the 600 block of Cherry Hill Road and hospitalized in serious condition.

Twenty minutes later, officers were called to the Shipley Hill neighborhood of Southwest Baltimore.

A 29-year-old was found with gunshots to his head and body, police said. He was hospitalized in grave condition.
