While floodwaters ravaged parts of Baltimore and surrounding areas Sunday, three people were shot and one was stabbed, police said.
A 58-year-old man was stabbed multiple times near the 500 block of E. Preston St. around 3 p.m. He was taken to the hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. Officers at the scene followed a trail of blood from the 500 block of E. Preston St. to the 1200 block of Brentwood, where they located a suspect.
Homicide detectives were called because of the severity of the man’s injuries.
Then at about 4:47 p.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of Laurens St., where they found a 33-year-old man who had been shot in the leg. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Police said a 36-year-old woman was found at 7:33 p.m. shot in the neck in the 500 block of Yale Ave. in Yale Heights in Southwest Baltimore.
The victim was transported to an area hospital, where she is listed in serious but stable condition, police said.
Minutes later, police found a 51-year-old man shot in the leg, arm and foot in the 2200 block of Brookfield Ave. in Reservoir Hill.
Police said the victim was driving in the 900 block of Ducatel Street when he heard several gunshots and then felt a pain in his leg.
