1 dead, 1 injured after Northeast Baltimore shooting Saturday

Baltimore police are investigating a shooting Saturday morning in Northeast Baltimore that left one person dead and another injured.

Just before 6:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 2900 block of Harview Ave. There they found a 51-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the head and a 57-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the shoulder, police said.

The victims were transported to an area hospital, where the 51-year-old man was later pronounced dead. The 57-year-old man is in stable condition, but police said he’s not cooperating with investigators.

Police said detectives believe the homicide may have been domestic related.

A victim from a Friday shooting had succumbed to his injuries, police said Saturday. He was found with gunshot wounds in the 1100 block of Myrtle Ave. in the Upton neighborhood of West Baltimore.

Police did not release the victim’s name.
