Male victim killed in Oliver, another man shot in Curtis Bay Tuesday

A male victim was fatally shot in the Oliver neighborhood of East Baltimore while another man was shot and injured in the Curtis Bay neighborhood of South Baltimore, police said.

Both incidents occurred Tuesday afternoon.

Officers responded to the 1200 block of N. Caroline Street in the Oliver neighborhood about 3:04 p.m. and located the victim — whose age was not provided — with a gunshot wound to the face, police said.

He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He was not identified.

A 36-year-old man was found shot in the legs and lower back in the 1500 block of Spruce Street in Curtis Bay just before 1 p.m. Police said he was conscious and was able to talk but has refused to cooperate with police.

Police do not identify victims of non-fatal shootings.
