One man was killed and another was injured in shootings Friday night in Baltimore, police said.
At about 11 p.m., police said 28-year-old Lloyd Tyson was found suffering from gunshot wounds to the torso in the 6100 block of Shipview Way in O'Donnell Heights.
Police said Tyson was walking in the block with several other people when an unknown gunman approached, opened fire on Tyson, and then the suspect fled. Tyson ran to the back of the 1500 block of Elrino Street, where he collapsed, police said. Tyson, of the 6100 block of Fortview Way, was pronounced dead at the scene.
At about 10:20 p.m., a 32-year-old man was shot in the right ankle in the 3200 block of Spaulding Avenue in Central Park Heights. Officers responding to the scene found a crime scene, but no victim.
Officers found the victim later at an area hospital, who told officers he was walking in the block when "three black male suspects told him to come here," police said.
The victim started to run, and heard about 20 gunshots and realized he had been shot. The victim and his friend "caught a hack" taxi to the hospital, police said.
