Two men killed in shooting, stabbing in city

Two men were killed in Baltimore on Thursday night, one in a shooting in Brooklyn and one in a stabbing in Broening Manor, according to Baltimore Police.

In the first incident, officers responded about 10:03 p.m. to a report of gunfire in the 3600 block of St. Margaret Street in Brooklyn and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his back and torso, police said.

The man was transported to a local hospital but was pronounced dead, police said.

In the second incident, officers responded about 10:52 p.m. to a reported assault in the 1500 block of Charlotte Avenue in Broening Manor and located a man on the floor of a dining room in a home there suffering from a stab wound to his abdomen, police said.

The man was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead about 11:29 p.m., police said.

Police have no suspects and know of no motives in the killings.
