Man killed in Park Heights area; two others shot in Coppin Heights

A 63-year-old man was killed in Northwest Baltimore on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

The man was found around 1:30 p.m. in an apartment building in the 5000 block of Denmore Avenue in the Park Heights area, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The shooting was the second homicide of the day. Earlier Wednesday, a man was fatally shot in the 2000 block of McCulloh Street around 6:30 a.m.

Two men were also shot Wednesday in a separate incident in West Baltimore.

The men were found around 4:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of Ruxton Avenue in the Coppin Heights area. One was shot in the leg and the other in the back. Both were taken to hospitals for treatment.
