Police discover victim of nonfatal shooting in Druid Heights

Baltimore police found a 39-year-old man with a nonlife-threatening gunshot wound Friday while canvassing an area after a report of gunfire.

Police were called to the intersection of Laurens and McCulloh streets in Druid Heights around 6:45 p.m. While officers were looking for witnesses and possible victims, they found the man and arranged for him to be transported to an area hospital for treatment.

The shooting took place nearby in the 1800 block of Stoddard Alley.
