A man was shot and killed in Baltimore's Coldstream-Homestead-Montebello neighborhood, just south of Baltimore City College, Tuesday morning, police said.

At about 3:20 a.m., officers responded to the Gorsuch and Kirk Avenues for the shooting. There, police found a 23-year-old man, sitting on steps and shot in his chest, officers said.

The victim was transported to a hospital, where he died. Police did not identify him Tuesday.

Detectives are searching for three suspects seen wearing masks.

On Tuesday, police also identified 24-year-old Steven Nelson, of the 3300 block of Dudley Avenue, as the victim of a June 13 homicide in Belair-Edison.
