A woman was shot in East Baltimore late Wednesday night and remained in critical condition on Thursday morning, police said.
Police responding to reports of a shooting around 11 p.m. found the woman in the 2600 block of Grogan Ave., in the city's Berea neighborhood.
Medics treated the victim at the scene, and the homicide unit is investigating the shooting due to the severity of her injuries.
