Baltimore police release image of rape suspect

Baltimore police are asking for information on an unidentified suspect wanted in a rape last month.

The police department released a composite sketch Monday of a man wanted in a rape that occurred at 2 a.m. Jan. 27 in the 1700 block of N. Calvert St. in the Greenmount West neighborhood in North Baltimore.

Police said the suspect is described as a dark skinned African-American male, six feet tall, possibly in his early to mid-thirties with a slender build. Police said he wore a midnight blue hoodie, light blue jeans and a three-quarter long black coat. The suspect also had two tattooed tears underneath his right eye, police said.
