Three shot, one critically injured, in Baltimore overnight

Three people were shot — one of them critically injured — in Baltimore overnight, police said Monday.

Officers had been at a city hospital checking on a separate shooting victim when a 22-year-old man arrived about 9:30 p.m. with gunshot wounds to his chest and was immediately whisked into surgery in critical condition, police said.

It was not clear where the shooting took place, police said.

A 17-year-old boy was shot in the collarbone about 10:47 p.m. in the 2500 block of Woodbrook Ave. in Penn North on the west side, police said. Officers found him three blocks away.

He was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said.

A 19-year-old man was shot in the arm and leg just after midnight in the 4900 block of Greencrest Road in the Frankford neighborhood of Northeast Baltimore, police said.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said.
