Police: One killed, one injured minutes apart in Friday night shootings

Two men were shot, one fatally, within minutes in West Baltimore Friday night.

At about 8:30 p.m., 27-year old Brandon Lee was shot in the 2200 block of W. Lexington Street in Penrose/Fayette Street Outreach. Lee was taken to an area hospital where he died overnight, police said.

Also at 8:30 p.m., officers were called to an area hospital to investigate a man who had been shot in the stomach. The man told police he had been shot at Carrollton and Harlem avenues, just over a mile away from the other shooting Friday night.

No other details were immediately available.
