Man shot Tuesday in Park Heights dies

Baltimore City police were investigating two overnight shootings, and a man shot Tuesday afternoon in Northwest Baltimore succumbed to his injuries.

Davon Ockimey, 26, was pronounced dead at 5:22 p.m., police said Wednesday. He was shot just before 5 p.m. Tuesday, found collapsed in a front yard in the 4200 block of Pimlico Road in the Park Heights area. Police said he had suffered at least one gunshot wound to his chest and died at an area hospital.

Police are also investigating two shootings that took in the early morning hours Wednesday.

An unidentified man was shot in the abdomen at about 12:25 a.m. in the 700 block of W. North Ave., and at about 2:45 a.m. another unidentified man was shot in the stomach in the 100 block of Denison St. in the Allendale neighborhood.
