A man was stabbed to death and two others were injured in shootings in Baltimore overnight, police said, and another man was shot and died of his wounds on Saturday evening.
A citizen flagged down an officer on patrol around 1:30 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Charles and Baltimore streets, where a man had been stabbed several times, police said.
The man was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries, police said.
Kirby Fowler, the president of the Downtown Partnership, said police believe the victim was from Baltimore County. Officers have few details on the incident, Fowler said in an interview Saturday afternoon.
"The police department is working diligently to track down clues and speak to any potential witnesses," he said, adding that officers are reviewing surveillance footage and plan to canvas bus stops in the area Saturday evening.
At around 6 p.m. Saturday, officers went to the 2500 block of Huron Street in South Baltimore to investigate reports of a shooting, and found a 30-year-old man suffering several gunshot wounds, police said. He was taken to the hospital but died from his injuries.
Homicide detectives are investigating both killings, and anyone with information may call 410-396-2100.
A 25-year-old woman was shot in the leg in the 800 block of McAleer Ct. just after 5 p.m. Friday, police said. She was taken to an area hospital for treatment, police said.
Eastern district detectives are investigating, and anyone with information may call 410-396-2433.
Around 9 p.m., a 29-year-old man walked into an area hospital after being shot in the 1300 block of N. Carey St., police said.
Western District detectives are investigating, and anyone with information may call 410-396-2477.
Police did not identify suspects or motives in any of the incidents.
