Two men shot on same Northeast Baltimore block Monday night

Two men were injured by gunfire on the same block in Northeast Baltimore on Monday night, Baltimore police said.

Officers on patrol at about 11:30 p.m. in the Frankford neighborhood heard gunshots and found a 24-year-old man shot in the face in the 5200 block of Frankford Ave.

The victim was taken to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition. While responding to the hospital, detectives learned of another shooting victim, a 32-year-old man, who was also hospitalized.

That victim was also in the 5200 block of Frankford Ave. attempting to buy marijuana, police said, when several men approached, attempting to rob him.
