Man wanted on murder charges in two states arrested in Baltimore

A man wanted on murder charges in Texas and Indiana was arrested Saturday in Baltimore, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.

Milton Misael Zambrano-Gonzalez, 26, was arrested around 11:15 a.m. after a brief foot chase near the 200 block of N. Luzerne Ave., where he was staying, the department said. He was being held on fugitive charges, and the U.S. Marshals Service says he is a member of the MS-13 gang. A lawyer could not be located in online court records.

Zambrano-Gonzalez had a warrant out for his arrest on murder charges in 2016 in the killing of a 16-year-old in Houston, law enforcement officials said. Investigators learned he fled to Indiana where he was charged in a murder in August. They later discovered he had ties to the Baltimore area.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency will pursue federal prosecution charges for illegal re-entry, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. Zambrano-Gonzalez has also had three immigration removals from the country, the department said.
