Two men fatally stabbed in separate incidents Monday in Baltimore

Two men were fatally stabbed in separate incidents on Monday in Baltimore.

One victim was found in the 5600 block of Greenhill Avenue in Northeast Baltimore's Frankford Avenue around 8:15 p.m. Police believe the victim, later identified as 79-year-old Gerald Long, and the suspect got into an argument before Long was stabbed.

Long was pronounced dead on the scene. A person of interest was taken into custody.

A 26-year-old man was stabbed to death in Baltimore's Grove Park neighborhood Monday morning.

At about 9:40 a.m., officers responded to the 3600 block of Bowers Avenue for a reported cutting. There, they found 26-year-old Anthony Griffin suffering from trauma to the head and neck, police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
