Death of man found bloodied on Baltimore Highlands sidewalk ruled a homicide.

The death of a man whose body was found on a sidewalk with blood on his nose has been ruled a homicide, police said.

The man, identified by police as 26-year-old Aurelio Rios-Rodriguez, was found Jan. 17 at about 2:27 p.m. in the 3600 block of Mount Pleasant Avenue in Baltimore Highlands.

Police said Rios-Rodriguez was laying unresponsive with a small amount of blood in his nose. He died Jan. 23. The cause of death was blunt force trauma, his autopsy determined.

Police Friday also identified a 22-year-old man who died Thursday in the 5000 block of Queensberry Avenue as Raheem Payne of the same block.
