Man, 24, fatally shot Friday night in northwest Baltimore.

A 24-year-old man was shot and killed Friday night in Northwest Baltimore's Ashburton neighborhood, police said.

About 11:30 p.m., police said, the man was found shot in the head and body in the 3400 block of Grantley Road.

Police said several masked men were seen loitering in the area. A short time later, gunshots were heard, police said.

The man, whose name was not released, was taken to Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police were also investigating a non-fatal shooting that resulted from a dispute over rent in West Baltimore on Saturday night. Officers were called at 6:15 p.m. to a local hospital where a 45-year-old man was being treated for a gunshot wound to the back. Police said his injury is not life-threatening.

The shooting happened in the 2300 block of Calverton Heights. Police did not have a suspect Saturday night.
