One man killed, second injured in overnight shootings, police say

Police: one man was killed, second injured in overnight shootings in Baltimore Saturday.

A 38-year-old man was killed and another man injured in separate shootings in Baltimore overnight, city police said.

Officers were called at 1:30 a.m. Saturday to the 2800 block of Hilldale Avenue in the Northwest neighborhood of Park Circle, where they found the victim inside of a vehicle. Police said he had been shot multiple times, and was taken to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.

Police did not release the man's name Saturday morning.

At 4:15 a.m., officers were on patrol in the 2500 block of E. Biddle Street in East Baltimore when they found a man with a gunshot wound to his upper body. The victim was taken to an area hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.

Police did not release additional information about his condition Saturday morning.
