Man shot in the chest and killed in West Baltimore, police said

Alfred Barrett was shot twice in the chest and killed in West Baltimore, police said.

A man was shot twice in the chest and killed Monday afternoon in West Baltimore, police said.

Officers found Alfred Barrett in the back of the 1500 block of N. Smallwood St., the Coppin Heights-Ash Co-East neighborhood.

Barrett, of the 4900 block of Saint Gemma Road, was pronounced dead shortly before 6 p.m., police said.
