Cockeysville man killed in Cherry Hill shooting

A Cockeysville man was killed in a shooting in Cherry Hill Tuesday night, Baltimore police said.

A Cockeysville man was killed in a shooting in Cherry Hill Tuesday night, Baltimore police said.

Taji Anthony, 25, of the 300 block of Lord Byron Lane, was shot multiple times by an unknown suspect in the 3400 block of Round Road, police said.

Officers were called around 11:30 p.m. to an area hospital where Anthony was being treated for multiple gunshot wounds to the neck and torso. He died from his injuries, police said.

In a separate incident, a Western District officer on patrol around 11:40 p.m. in the 2800 block of W. Lanvale Street heard several gunshots. The officer searched the area where he found a 34-year-old man who was shot in the torso.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
