A man was killed in Northwest Baltimore early Monday, capping violent weekend

A 39-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body early Monday in the Langston Hughes neighborhood of Northwest Baltimore, and later died from his injuries at an area hospital, Baltimore Police said.

The fatal shooting, which occurred around 2:30 a.m. it the 5100 block of Arbutus Avenue, capped a violent weekend in which six people were killed between Friday night and Monday morning and several others were shot — including a 9-year-old girl.

Police did not identify the victim, and said they had no suspects. Anyone with information is asked to contact homicide detectives at 410-396-2100.
