Three sought in Wells Fargo bank robberies

Three men are sought in connection with two recent robberies at a Baltimore bank.

The Violent Crimes Task Force of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Baltimore division is requesting the public's help in identifying the men officials said are responsible for a July 8 robbery and July 18 robbery attempt at a Wells Fargo bank in the 4800 block of Eastern Ave.

According to the division, witnesses have described the suspects as black men in their late 20s. One is about 6 feet tall and another is approximately 5 feet 7 inches. The robbers handed bank tellers notes demanding money in both robberies.

In the July 8 robbery, the two men involved were wearing long capri-style shorts, investigators said. One man is believed to have been involved in both incidents.

Anyone with information about either case is asked to call 410-265-8080.
