A man was stabbed at a WaWa gas station in Millersville on Friday evening after getting into a dispute with a group of people, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
Officers went to the gas station around 6 p.m. and found the victim with a stab wound, police said. He was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center suffering from a collapsed lung, but is expected to survive his injuries, police said. A man and a teenager have been arrested in connection with the stabbing.
The victim, who is 18, told police that he was leaving the parking lot of the gas station in a truck when a black Mitsubishi pulled up and the people inside started an argument, police said. One of the passengers in the car got out of the car and approached the driver of the victim's truck holding what appeared to be a Taser, according to police.
At that point the victim got out of the truck and confronted the person from the other car and a fight started, police said. The victim was stabbed, and the four people who were in the Mitsubishi fled south on Veterans Highway, according to police.
Robert Michael Dupree, 19, of Millersville was charged with attempted second degree murder and other offenses. The teenager, a 17 year-old male who has not been identified, was issued a juvenile citation for second degree assault.
