Police identified a 46-year-old man killed Monday in northeast Baltimore.

Thomas Donaldson, who lived in the 1500 block of Stonewood Road, was fatally shot by an unknown suspect behind his home, police said Tuesday.

Just after noon Monday, Baltimore officers responded to a call of a shooting on Donaldson's block, where they found him with gunshot wounds to his torso.

Investigators learned that Donaldson had been in the alley behind his home when someone approached him and shot him multiple times before fleeing.

Donaldson was pronounced dead at Johns Hopkins Hospital at 1:54 p.m. on Monday.

Police do not have a motive or suspect.
