An East Baltimore man was arrested and charged with attempted first degree murder for an Aug. 8 shooting that injured a 17-year-old boy, police said Friday.
John Heath, 24, shot the boy twice in the leg in the 1100 block of N. Lakewood Avenue after the two got into an argument, police said. Heath is being held in the Baltimore City Detention Center.
The victim, who was not identified, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
