Baltimore police say an 18-year-old was shot in the face early Sunday morning and was taken to an area hospital.
Police said they received a call about a shooting just before 1 a.m. in the 1800 block of N. Russell Street. Upon arrival, they met with the victim, a man who had a gunshot wound to the lower part of his cheek.
He told police he had been under the Russell Street and Route 295 bridge when he was shot. He said he walked to the Exxon gas station on Russell Street and called 911, police said. He was taken to an area hospital.
Police said no suspect description or motive is known, and there was no word on the man's condition.

Three men were also shot in two separate incidents on the east and west sides of Baltimore on Sunday night, both around 9 p.m., police said. None of the shootings was fatal.
In the first incident, a man was shot near the corner of North Monroe Street and Presstman Street in the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood.
In the second incident, a man was found in the 1400 block of Ashland Avenue with at least one gunshot wound to his upper body. Another man walked into Johns Hopkins Hospital shortly after 9 p.m., and police have since determined that he was also injured in the shooting near the 1400 block of Ashland Avenue.
Further details on the evening shootings were not immediately available.
