Baltimore police seeking suspect in string of armed robberies last week

Baltimore police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man suspected in a string of armed robberies in Baltimore last Thursday.

A news release with surveillance photos of the man, dressed in a dark blue zip-up hoodie and beanie, said he walked into Bmore Smoke Store in the 1000 block of E. Lombard St. around 7:30 p.m. and robbed the clerk at gunpoint of cash and a pack of cigarettes.

Then, just after 9 p.m., the suspect took a gun into Jerry Carryout in the 20 block of E. North Ave. and robbed it of its cash register except for the cash drawer, police said. Around 9:30, he hit Pizza Boli's in the 200 block of Patterson Park Ave., taking cash from the restaurant at gunpoint, the release said.

Police said the man used a black, semi-automatic handgun, which he concealed in his waistband, in all of the robberies. He's described as a black man in his mid-20s, between 5-foot-8 and 5-10.

Anyone with information in this case is asked to call police at 1-866-756-2587.
