One man was killed and three others were wounded in weekend shootings in Baltimore, police said.
Shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday, two men were shot — one fatally — in downtown Baltimore.
The men were found at 3:05 a.m. in the 300 block of Park Avenue. One was shot in the head and the other was shot in the groin, Baltimore police said.
The man who was shot in the head was pronounced dead at a local hospital at 3:31 a.m. The man who was shot in the groin was in serious but stable condition on Sunday, police said.
Early on Sunday morning, a man walked into a Baltimore hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound to his thigh, police said.
The man said he was walking in the 3400 block of Grantley road in Ashburton at 11:17 p.m. Saturday when two men dressed in dark clothes approached him. One pulled out a handgun and shot the victim several times, hitting him once, police said.
And early on Saturday morning, a man was shot several times in Central Park Heights, Baltimore police said.
The man told police that he was in the 3100 block of Wylie Avenue at 1:32 a.m. Saturday when another man approached him, pulled out a handgun and shot him several times before running off.
The victim is in critical but stable condition at a hospital.
