A man was shot in the groin in the Hillen neighborhood of Northeast Baltimore late Thursday night, about a block from the campus of Morgan State University, according to Baltimore Police.
Officers responded to the 1600 block of Northgate Road, south of East Cold Spring Lane across Hillen Road from the university's campus, about 11:13 p.m., police said. The man was transported to a nearby hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
Also, about 11:10 p.m., officers were dispatched to an area hospital that had admitted a 24-year-old man who had arrived with a gunshot wound to his leg, police said. This man is also in stable condition.
District detectives are still investigating both incidents, police said.
