One man was killed and three others shot in Baltimore between Friday night and Saturday afternoon, police said.
Two men were shot around 3:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of W. Saratoga St. in the Penrose area of West Baltimore, police said. One, who police did not identify, died after he was shot in the head, chest and leg. The other was shot in the arm and leg and was undergoing surgery Saturday night.
Two other men were shot late Friday and early Saturday, but both victims were expected to survive their injuries.
About 10:15 p.m. Friday, a 25-year-old man was admitted to an area hospital with a gunshot wound to his right leg. The man is currently listed in stable condition. Police said an unknown gunman shot the victim around 10 p.m. in the 3900 block of Tivoly Ave. in the Ednor Gardens/Lakeside neighborhood of Northeast Baltimore.
Then just after midnight, a 23-year-old man was admitted to an area hospital with a gunshot wound to his right ankle. The man is currently listed in stable condition. The victim told police he was walking in the 400 block of N. Bradford St. in the McElderry Park neighborhood of East Baltimore when he heard a gunshot and was wounded. The victim told police he didn't see the gunman.
