Two men were shot in separate incidents in Southwest Baltimore Monday night, police said.
Police were called to a shooting that happened around 10:30 p.m. in the 100 block of S. Payson St. in the Carrollton Ridge neighborhood, where a man was found suffering from gunshot wounds to the head, arm and hip.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where he was last listed in critical condition, police said.
The homicide unit is investigating due to the severity of the man's injuries, and anyone with information may call 410-396-2100.
In the other incident, a man was shot in the face in the 400 block of South Beechfield Avenue in the Beechfield neighborhood at around 10:15 p.m., police said. Officers found the man in the 4600 block of Parkton Street in Yale Heights after receiving a call for a reported shooting victim.
The victim was taken to an area hospital where it was discovered that he had also sustained gunshot wounds to the right thigh, left wrist and left shoulder. He was last listed in stable condition.
