A man was shot and killed on the northern edge of Gwynns Falls Park Wednesday evening, police said.
Officers found the victim, who was believed to be in his teens or early 20s, shot multiple times in a vehicle when they responded to the 2300 Lyndhurst Ave. in the Windsor Hills neighborhood around 6 p.m. for a report of a shooting, police said.
The victim was taken to an area hospital where he later died, police said.
At the scene, detectives were inspecting a blue minivan parked on a street of single-family homes. Farther down Windsor Mill Road, nine detectives stood around two males sitting on a curb. Police did not say whether they were persons of interest.
Homicide detectives are investigating, and anyone with information may call 410-396-2100.
