Baltimore police are investigating at least three separate shootings that occurred within about four hours Monday.
Officers responded to the 900 block of St. Dunstans Road in North Baltimore's Cameron Village after 4 p.m. for a report of a man shot in the back.
"As of now, he's expected to survive," Baltimore police spokesman Det. Jeremy Silbert said.
About an hour later, police reported another shooting in West Baltimore. Police found a 20-year-old man shot in the shoulder in the 2600 block of Lauretta Avenue. They believe the shooting occurred a block away, in the 500 block of Evergreen Street.
Police reported a third incident, in which a man was reported to be shot in the stomach, shortly after 8 p.m. The shooting occurred in the 2100 block of Garrison Boulevard in West Baltimore, about 2 miles away from the Evergreen Street shooting.
Around the same time, police said two man walked in to an area hospital with gunshot wounds. Officers were not immediately able to connect the victims to an earlier shooting, police said.
