Police are investigating a shooting in Northwest Baltimore that left a man in stable condition.
Officers responding to reports of gunshots found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso in the 3900 block of Gwynn Oak Ave. at about 7:14 p.m. on Monday, Baltimore police said.
The victim was treated by paramedics on the scene and taken to an area hospital, where he remained Tuesday. Investigators said a man wearing a hooded sweat shirt and dark pants opened fire on the victim before fleeing. They had no suspects, and police are asking residents to contact detectives at 410-396-2466 with more information.
Police also identified the victim in a fatal shooting early Saturday in the 1000 block of E. Patapsco Ave. as Thomas Edward Burrell, 37, who lived in the 800 block of Herndon Court. Police have no suspects in that case.
