Two men were shot in the parking lot of a Citgo gas station in West Baltimore on Wednesday evening, police said, though they were expected to survive.
The men were shot in their limbs and were expected to survive. Baltimore police said they were shot in the parking lot near the intersection of Edmondson Avenue and N. Franklintown Road shortly before 8 p.m.
Police had no suspects.
The immediate area near the shooting is a busy commercial corridor where violence is not uncommon. In April, three men were shot – one fatally – near the same intersection by police officers who said they saw the men firing guns from a car at someone. In July, federal agents busted an alleged heroin and crack ring operating a block away from Wednesday's shooting.
