Two men were fatally shot and another wounded in two separate shootings in Baltimore late Thursday and early Friday morning, police said.
One man was found shot in the chest shortly before 2 a.m. in the 500 block of Collins Ave. in Southwest Baltimore, police said. He was later pronounced dead at a hospital, and he has not yet been publicly identified. Police determined that the shooting took place several blocks away in the 500 block of Yale Ave. in the Yale Heights neighborhood.
Shortly before midnight, two other men were shot in the 4700 block of Wilern Ave. in Northwest Baltimore's Park Heights neighborhood. One man who had multiple gunshot wounds to his torso was pronounced dead at the scene. Nearby, in the 2700 block of Cold Spring Lane, police found another man with gunshot wounds to his torso who is believed to have been wounded in the same incident. The second victim was in serious condition Friday morning but was stable, police said. Police said a male suspect fled the scene.
