A 46-year-old man was shot in the head and killed in the Edgewood neighborhood of Baltimore Tuesday evening.
Police said the man was pronounced dead on the scene after he was found at about 6:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Linnard Street. He has not yet been publicly identified and police announced no suspects.
With the latest fatal shooting, Baltimore has 215 homicides in 2013. For all of last year, city police logged 217 homicides, up from 2011's count.
In August 2012, two brothers, Troy, 33, and Euclides Manley, 35, were fatally shot a block away. The trial of a man accused in their murders is ongoing.
