Police investigating homicide in East Baltimore

A man was found dead in East Baltimore Saturday morning and police are investigating the case as a homicide.

Police said someone called around 11 a.m. to report the man's body, which was found in the 2400 block of East Oliver Street in the Broadway East neighborhood. The body, which was inside of a building, had been there for at least 24 hours.

The body will be taken to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy to determine the cause of death and to identify the victim. Anyone with information is asked to contact domicide detectives at 410-396-2100.
