Woman found dead in water near South Clinton Street identified

Baltimore police have identified a woman who was found dead, floating in an industrial area near South Clinton Street Thursday.

Police identified the woman as 52-year-old Elaine Hargrove of the 4100 block of Wentworth Ave. in the Central Forest Park neighborhood in West Baltimore. Investigators have found no signs of foul play, but police said the cause of death is undetermined.

Hargrove was the ninth person found deceased in the waters near downtown since October.
