A man was shot and killed Monday morning in Park Heights, according to Baltimore police.
Few details were immediately available. The shooting occurred about 4:15 a.m. in the 2700 block of Boarman Ave., near Park Heights Ave. in Northeast Baltimore. Police said the man had been shot in the head and died at Sinai Hospital.
Authorities could not provide an age of the victim, a motive, or say if the man had been shot inside or on the street.
In other violence, police said a 53-year-old man was shot in the right calf about 4:50 p.m. on Sunday, in the 2000 block of West Baltimore St. That shooting occurred less than a block from Bon Secours Hospital.
Earlier Sunday afternoon, police said a 29-year-old man was shot multiple times in the 2600 block of Shirley Ave., in the Greenspring neighborhood of Northwest Baltimore. Police said the victim is expected to survive.
And late Saturday, in the morning, police said a man who had been shot in the arm and leg walked into a city hospital. Police said they believe the man had been shot in the 600 block of North Robinson St., in East Baltimore's Ellwood Park.
