Police reports in Baltimore city and county

Northeastern Baltimore
Shooting A man, 20, was reported in good condition at Union Memorial Hospital after he was shot in the left arm and left hand by an unknown assailant in the 1700 block of Gorsuch Ave. about 1:30 a.m. Thursday. Police at the scene followed a trail of blood in the 2700 block of Fenwick Ave. that led them to the shooting scene.

Shooting Police responding to a report of a shooting in the 5600 block of Plymouth Road about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday found a man sitting on the front steps of a house bleeding from bullet wounds to the neck and a leg. The victim was taken by a city Fire Department ambulance to Johns Hopkins Hospital. His condition was not available.

Southeastern Baltimore
Shooting A man, 20, was shot in the back in the 1100 block of Steelton Ave. about 8 p.m. Wednesday then ran into a house in the nearby 1000 block of Dundalk Ave., where he was found by police. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. No arrest had been made and police knew of no motive.

Eastern Baltimore
Bank robbery City police and the FBI were seeking a man who robbed the M&T Bank in the 2100 block of E. Monument St. about 10 a.m. Wednesday of an undisclosed sum of money after giving a teller a holdup note that said he was armed. No weapon was displayed.

Burglary Someone entered the manager's office at Hughes Medical Institute in the 800 block of N. Wolfe St. between Aug. 21 and Tuesday and stole several checks and gift cards.

Northwestern Baltimore
Burglary At least $150 was removed from a cash register at Weezy's grocery store in the 5200 block of Park Heights Ave. on Wednesday. There were no signs of forced entry.

Burglary Someone broke into Caribbean Foods Carryout in the 5300 block of Park Heights Ave. between Tuesday night and early Wednesday and removed $40.

Baltimore Co. – North Point
Theft/arrest A man, 56, was arrested Wednesday afternoon and charged with stealing various vegetables from a private garden owned and maintained by the residents of an apartment complex in the 7800 block of Stansbury Road. Arrested at the scene was George Hubbell of the 7800 block of Harold Road, several blocks from the garden. Recovered at the scene was a bag containing eggplants, peppers and tomatoes, all removed from the garden moments before police arrived after receiving a report.

Baltimore Co. – Essex
Burglary A car was parked in the driveway of a house in the 10200 block of Foxridge Lane between Sunday and Monday when someone broke into the vehicle and stole a navigational system and tools, all valued at nearly $1,500.

Burglary/vandalism Someone broke into a vacant house in the 2100 block of Cockspur Road through the front door Tuesday and caused $200 damage to interior walls.

Baltimore Co. – Woodlawn
Burglary A snow blower valued at $800 was stolen Wednesday from a shed in the 9700 block of Eustice Road.

Baltimore Co. – Wilkens
Burglary Three mountain bikes and a lawn mower, all valued at $1,100, were stolen between Aug. 20 and Tuesday from the back porch of a house in the 100 block of Briarwood Road.

Burglary Someone entered the back yard of a house in the 900 block of Elm Ridge Ave. on Wednesday and stole three bicycles, all valued at about $1,000.
