Police reports in Baltimore city and county

Northern Baltimore
Robbery A boy, 15, was walking in the 3000 block of Woodland Ave. in Pimlico about 6:10 p.m. Wednesday when he observed several teenage males sitting on the front porch of a house and heard one of them say something that sounded racial. When the teen reached the 2900 block of Woodland Ave., one of the youths the victim observed earlier approached him from the rear armed with a sledgehammer. That youth was joined by another, and together they robbed the victim of his cell phone. The victim was not injured, and no arrests had been made. Anyone with information is asked to call the police district at 410-396-2455.

Southeastern Baltimore
Burglary At least two mattresses of unknown value were stolen Wednesday from an apartment in the 1000 block of Aliceanna St. by someone who entered through the front door.

Stolen vehicle Police were seeking a green 1998 Volvo with tags 1EN A97 that was stolen Monday in the 1100 block of Steelton Ave.

Theft Two toilets, a dehumidifier and a shop vacuum were stolen between Monday and Tuesday from a house in the 1800 block of E. Baltimore St. by someone who entered through a rear door.



Southern Baltimore
Burglary Light fixtures, a towel rack and a sink, all valued at $770, were stolen between May 5 and Wednesday from a house in the 2200 block of Sidney Ave. by an intruder who entered by forcing a rear door.

Theft A 2009 Toyota Scion was parked in the 3700 block of Sixth St. between May 23 and Wednesday when someone broke into the vehicle through a door and stole a bank card.

Theft Someone broke into a 2001 Chevrolet Malibu parked in the 1900 block of Olive St. between Tuesday and Wednesday by forcing a door and stole a watch, a navigational system and two bullet-proof vests, all valued at $1,029.

Theft A 2003 Toyota Camry was parked in the 500 block of S. Sharp St. on Wednesday when someone entered the vehicle after breaking a window with a rock and stole two CD cases containing several CDs, a cell phone and a pair of eyeglasses. Total value of the property was $700.





Baltimore Co. – White Marsh
Armed robbery Police were seeking two men in their 30s, one armed with a baseball bat, who attacked a man, 29, as he walked in the 7900 block of Philadelphia Road about 1:30 a.m. Thursday and robbed him of his medication. During the incident, the victim was struck with the bat and suffered minor injuries. Police said the pair drove off in a car. Anyone with information is asked to call the precinct at 410-887-5000,

Baltimore Co. – Essex
Burglary Police were seeking a known male who broke into a house in the 900 block of Kinwat Ave. between Wednesday and Thursday through a window and removed an ATM card from a purse. Police said the card was used to withdraw more than $100 from at least one convenience store.
