Burglary Someone entered a vacant house in the 6600 block of Windsor Mill Road through a window Tuesday and removed a clothes washer and a clothes dryer. Total value of the appliances was $1,400.

Homicide arrest James Wesley Spriggs, 28, of the 2800 block of Edgecombe Circle in Northwest Baltimore was arrested Wednesday by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder and a handgun violation. The scene of the arrest was not disclosed. Police said Spriggs is charged with shooting Brian Goodwin, 21, multiple times in the 500 block of Bloom St. near Pennsylvania Avenue about 11 p.m. June 19, 2008, during a drug dispute. Goodwin died nearly five hours later at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Spriggs was being held without bail at Central Booking and Intake Center.Balto. Co. – Cockeysville
Burglary Military equipment of unknown value was stolen between Monday and Wednesday from a shed in the first block of Nightingale Way.Balto. Co. – Woodlawn
Assault/shots fired Police were seeking two teenage boys, one armed with a handgun, who stopped a boy, 17, as he walked along Oak Haven Circle near Lord Baltimore Drive about 9 p.m. Wednesday. After one of the teens asked the victim where a girl lived then asked for a cigarette, the victim turned to flee. As he ran away, the youth armed with a gun fired at least five shots, all missing the victim.
