Police reports in Baltimore city and county

Southern Baltimore
Burglary/arrest Officer Antwon Smith was responding to a residential burglary in the 1100 block of Nanticoke St. about 6 p.m. Monday when he observed a man leaving the dwelling carrying DVDs, video games and other property. After a brief foot chase, Smith caught the man and recovered the property. Charged with burglary was Michael Bailey, 24, of the 300 block of S. Parrish St.

Assault A man, 34, was sitting on a motorcycle parked in the 1400 block of Washington Blvd. about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday and smoking a cigarette when he and the vehicle's owner became involved in an argument. As the argument heated, the vehicle's owner pulled out an unknown sharp object and cut the other man on the right hand and left chest before climbing onto the motorcycle and driving away. The victim was treated at an area hospital and released. There was no arrest.

Assault A woman was arguing with at least three other people in the 4000 block of Sixth St. about 12:40 a.m. Wednesday when one of them sprayed the woman in the face with a chemical irritant. The woman was treated at the scene by medics. No arrest had been made.

Theft A man was looking out a window at a bus station in the 2100 block of Haines St. about 6 a.m. Monday when someone stole his carrying bag containing airline tickets worth $500, a U.S. passport, 25 music CDs and a watch.

Western Baltimore
Assault Two men were passing each other in the 2300 block of Baker St. about 8 a.m. Wednesday when one of them cut the other on the left shoulder with an unknown sharp weapon. The victim was treated at an area hospital and released.

Southeastern Baltimore
Stolen vehicle A silver 1999 Toyota Corolla with Pennsylvania tag DMP7221 was stolen Tuesday in the 2100 block of E. Lombard St.

Theft An electronic keyboard, a navigational system, 100 music CDs and two chairs, all valued at $2,000, were stolen Tuesday from a 2005 Nissan truck parked in the 500 block of S. Caroline St.

Theft Two air-conditioning units, all valued at $6,000, were stolen Monday from outside a building in the 6200 block of Eastern Ave.

Stolen vehicle A black 2004 Volkswagen Jetta with tags MET 586 was stolen Sunday from a parking lot in the 2000 block of Aliceanna St.

Stolen vehicle Police were seeking a blue 1996 Buick with tags 7EH DO1 that was stolen between Sunday and Monday from a lot in the 800 block of Watson St.

Baltimore Co. – Parkville
Racial incident A male student at Pine Grove Middle School told police another student sent him text messages over the weekend that included racial slurs and other racial remarks. Police are investigating.

Stabbing Two men were arguing over money behind a building in the 9600 block of Belair Road about 10 p.m. Monday when one man stabbed the other in a hand and the upper torso with a knife. Officer Jeff Schaub said the victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and that a warrant has been issued for the 28-year-old suspect.

Baltimore Co. – White Marsh
Burglary Someone entered onto the driveway of a house in the 7900 block of Roseland Ave. over the weekend and removed temporary tag 75536H from a car.

Church break-in Police were seeking a man who broke into Zion Lutheran Church in the first block of Golden Ring Road through a basement door and fled without any property when an alarm went off. Witnesses reported seeing the man drive off in a white pickup truck.

Baltimore Co. – Cockeysville
Burglary A 32-inch TV and video games were stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the first block of Nightingale Way by someone who entered through a door.

Robbery Two men were walking in the 500 block of Cranbrook Road about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday when three males robbed one of them of his cell phone valued at $100.

Baltimore Co. – Wilkens
Burglary A TV, DVD player, an Xbox and clothing, all valued at $1,600, were stolen between May 14 and Tuesday from a house in the 4000 block of Ruby Ave. by someone who entered through a door.
