Police reports in Baltimore city and county
Robbery try A man, 31, and his wife, 28, were walking their dog in the 800 block of Braeside Road about 9 p.m. Monday when two men, one armed with a long barrel revolver, exited a dark blue four-door Buick and attempted to rob them. During the incident, the gunman struck the man with his gun before he and his accomplice fled with no property or money. The injured man was treated at St. Agnes Hospital and was released.

Shooting A man in his mid-twenties was driving a car in the 1200 block of W. Fayette Ave. near North Carey Street shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday when someone fired a shot that struck him in the head. The victim was taken by a city Fire Department ambulance to Maryland Shock Trauma Center for emergency surgery. His condition was not available. Police were attempting to determine if the man was shot by someone inside the vehicle or outside the car. Shooting A man was shot in the leg at Edmondson Avenue and North Hilton Street about 7 p.m. Tuesday and was taken to an area hospital by ambulance. District detectives were investigating the shooting, details of which were not available.Baltimore Co. – Woodlawn
Robbery try/shooting A man in his mid-twenties was shot during an attempted robbery about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on a parking lot of an apartment building in the 1100 block of St. Agnes Lane near Forest Park Avenue. Police said the man was shot in the buttocks when he fled from the gunman and was taken by ambulance to Maryland Shock Trauma Center. No arrest had been made.Baltimore Co. – Cockeysville

Theft/assault A man was stealing medication valued at $400 from shelves at Rite Aid in the 6400 block of Frederick Road about 11:30 a.m. Monday when a female employee approached him.
